I am 6'0" and 165 lb with 33 size waist and bought two Red colors in M and one Super Blue in L size to compare and chooe one. There is a bigger than expected size difference between the M and L sizes. I usually opt for the large in many jackets and tops I buy because I have very broad shoulders but lean body, but in this case the Large was bulky. It is very wide cut especially around the waist. It depends on how you want it to fit; Just as a rain jacket, the large is fine with room for a sweater or sweatshirt when it's cold I would choose the large for hiking. The Medium fit just right, looks good even for a casual wear with not much room for a bulky sweater but can wear a sweatshirt or long sleeve T-shirt under it for warmth. Mind you, all pictures were taken while wearing a t-shirt only. Also there is definitely a slight but noticeable cut difference BETWEEN THE TWO MEDIUM sizes I purchased caused probably by period of production and slight design changes that accompanied it. For starters the Rocket Red fit me more nicely with a slightly more room around the shoulders and wider overall cut and the mesh was softer and more fine. overall more comfortable to wear. The Mountain Red was a little snug around the shoulders and sides and the mesh is definitely coarser on my arms which is fine, but since I have broad shoulders I chose the Rocket Red. The Mountain Red had a solid polyester fabric right below the collar where the Columbia tag is for durability, but the Rocket Red was soft mesh all the way to the edge of the collar. Also the mesh interior is more fine and softer on the Rocket Red than the Mountain Red. Also the Blue one has fine soft mesh also and missing the collar solid polyester fabric. I would bet the Rocket Red is a discontinued product since it's not offered on Columbia.com as well as many of the colors offered here on Amazon. So I can assume the colors here that are not offered on Columbia's website are probably discontinued and will have a softer mesh and fit a little bit more loose or classic fit. I guess Columbia upgraded it to make it more durable around the neck area and fit more modern a little bit. I would also like to add about one other review that said quality defect in one pocket being sewn all the way to the hem but not the other pocket(Left pocket), IT IS NOT A QUALITY ISSUE, that pocket is where you pack the jacket. it has a two sided zipper, so you can turn the pocket inside out and pack the whole jacket inside, so it's intentionally sewn that way. All the three jackets I got where sewn like that. It will have a patch near the zipper pocket that says PACKABLE. Overall really nice quality jacket as to be expected from Columbia, and a steal on these prices, in stores it usually is twice.

Second jacket purchased... ordered the 109-Black.
I give this 4 stars. Still a good fit (XS) for 140lb 5ft 6inch body frame.
The weight of this jacket compared to the one in yellow is lighter in weight, so it doesnt have as much the hefty feel. I guess all jackets are different. Nonetheless, it wears well, and looks quite stylish with the netted shoulder.

I like the epaulets, which helps build up the shoulders even more on this jacket. The cross hatching design on the shoulders gives this jacket some character. If you're wanting a plain black leather jacket, then get a different model. The black PU material from afar is not noticeably unleather-like. From up close, if one wants to judge your jacket to see if it is high quality or not... they will be able to tell that it probably is not leather. Then again, if they are that type that cares... then you might want to reconsider your friends.

There is a gloss, but its not too glossy where the material looks plasticky. For the fit and comfort, this 109-Black leather jacket is worth its price! You definitely get a great value as you will be able to wear it out consistently and look sharp and edgy at the same time. The outer shell will hold up and wont flake off, unlike other fake leather jackets out there on the market.

After two years owning the yellow, I am quite happy with this addition in black.

Note, I've been riding for over 10 years and always wear a real leather jacket when riding... so I know the proper fit and look of a leather jacket.

This by far is one of my favorite items purchased on amazon. It looks GREAT. I am 5' 6 140 lbs and I originally ordered the Small. It was too roomy in the chest area, so I sent it back for the XS. This jacket is cut for slimmer bodies, since the sleeves are more narrow. Take this into consideration.

For slimmer guys though, this fits how a leather jacket should fit, snug everywhere but not too tight where it restricts movement! The arms and shoulders fit snug. If you have buff huge arms... you will need to order up a size. This jacket is definitely cut more for the slimmer type, which is what I was looking for.

I get compliments on it every time, from both the ladies and the guys. The color looks great and I like the fitted cut and not boxy at all, if that is what you're afraid of. Only downside I see to this jacket is the zipper, which does not zip very well. It still works, but takes a bit longer to zip up. You just gotta know this ahead of time since you get what you pay for.

One thing that I had to alter, was to remove the collar strap. I feel it is unnecessary and is a bit too long and gets in the way. I removed it and also removed the back loop that holds the collar in. The side loops, I just kept. This improved wearing the jacket x2.

Besides the great looks, I want to talk about the weight of this jacket. Most faux leather jackets not only look cheap, but putting them on, they tend to feel cheap because they are usually of a lighter weight than real leather. Even though this Chouyatou jacket is faux, the weight of the jacket feels "hefty" and badass. (like you just got off your motorcycle doing standup wheelies on the 5 freeway, running from the cops) It does not feel light nor does it feel cheap. When you put it on, you automatically feel so much tougher because the thickness of the jacket makes you feel protected from the outside elements.

I do recommend this jacket to anyone.

Chicks dig leather jackets, and this one doesn't disappoint. Imma need to buy a stick to fend them off. Does Amazon sell sticks to fend off women? Hmm.

Lastly, many people have mentioned about the smell. It may have had an odor at first, but as I am wearing it now typing this to you, I dont smell any odor from the jacket. So you can trust me that if your jacket does smell, it will go away! Good luck and stay thirsty my friends.

I recently got my first chance to use this jacket! I bought it for vacation but didn't end up needing it at all. Last week, however, I went to an outdoor beer tasting event and it rained the whole time. I put this jacket on over a sweater and it kept me dry the whole time! The sleeves are long enough to cover my whole arm (my arms are long) and the hood was big enough to keep my face dry. This would work very well for hiking in the rain or any outdoor activity. It rained pretty hard and this jacket kept me totally dry.

The only issue that I have is that I don't like how it feels on bare arms, so it would probably be uncomfortable in the heat to wear this. Honestly, though, I'm not sure if any rain jacket would feel nice in hot, rainy weather. I just know that this would stick to my arms a bit and probably drive me nuts. It's great for layering though or for just moderately warm weather.
